Manager, Chemical Management

Position SummaryThis position is responsible for supporting federal and state chemical management policy advocacy to advance science-based solutions for risk evaluation and risk management of chemicals.
The position will support ACC's engagement with federal regulatory agencies, as well as state regulatory and legislative agencies.
The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities? Assists in the development of technical and policy materials in support of ACC's chemical management goals and objectives.
? Analyzes technical documents, government assessments, and policy positions.
? Maintains a timely, comprehensive understanding of regulations, legislation and policy activities affecting chemical management.
? Builds and sustains relationships with technical experts, third parties, government officials, and global forums related to chemical management.
? Engages with allied trade groups and other relevant stakeholders to support chemical management related advocacy and policy efforts.
? Supports the development of written and/or oral comments on chemical management policy positions, regulations, and guidance.
? Manages policy-and advocacy-focused committees and workgroups, as assigned by the Senior Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs? Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/RequirementsRequired? Bachelor's degree.
? Three years project/issue management, or related experience.
? Working knowledge of chemical management regulations and policies at the federal level.
? Motivated go-getter and self-starter with the ability to work independently on a variety of complex matters.
? Ability to prioritize key projects and responsibilities while managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and member requests.
? Strong written and oral communications skills.
? Ability to present positions and policies to external audiences.
? Ability to travel in the United States, as needed.
Preferred? Familiarity with EPA's Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
? Prior experience with executive branch or federal/state agency engagement related to chemicals management, environment, health or safety.
? Familiarity with chemical industry or related industry manufacturing processes.
? Experience cultivating stakeholder relationships and developing coalitions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
